Kenya Figowah Orphanage and Schools

ree

Recently, we have had conversations with Pastor Benson Nganga, who heads a large orphanage and school in Nakuru, Kenya. He became an orphan at the age of nine and struggled through childhood and youth. Later, when he married, he and his wife, Francis, decided to adopt just one orphan. Over the years, the number has grown to 400! All these children are fed, clothed, and educated. They operate several businesses that generate income for the orphanage and school.

Currently, they require additional classroom buildings to meet government requirements and accommodate future expansion. FOL is considering a partnership with Figowah Mission and is exploring the possibility of making a grant for the construction of school buildings. FOL's president visited Figowah in late August to evaluate the project and its scope further. We will keep you updated on this as we move forward.
