Our social justice program continues to experiment with various social media platforms and is gaining followers. We have experienced significant difficulty reaching a wider audience because of the restrictions on boosting posts with social justice content. We also have a fiscal sponsorship program involving the construction of a clinic in Bukobero. It has been a lengthy process, but we are finally coming to the end of the construction phase. As most of you already know, we expanded our involvement in Africa last year into Kenya. The Fiwagoh Mission School in Nakuru was started as an orphanage more than 25 years ago by Benson and Florence Nganga. It has grown to more than 400 students today, from pre-kindergarten through high school. Of these, a little over 100 students are orphans. Turning to our work abroad, as you probably already know, we have two ongoing projects in Uganda. One is an educational center located in Luwero, where we have a primary school and a secondary school. This year we have 163 students in the primary school and 265 students in the secondary school. FOL continues to operate monthly free grocery distribution events in Auburn and Federal Way, Washington. We have a group of loyal volunteers who help us with planning, organizing, and executing our events month after month. It is a joy to see their enthusiasm for service. This, in turn, helps bring smiles to our clients who benefit from the generosity of our volunteer crew.
